FuturePay Acceptable Use Policy
1. Prohibited Uses
Users, including partners, clients, merchants, and all individuals and entities (collectively referred to as "you") who use and/or have access to any platform of FuturePay Inc., FuturePay Pte. Ltd., and affiliated entities (together, "FuturePay", "us", "we", or "our") are prohibited from using any product or service of FuturePay:
1.1 In such a manner that you violate any local, national or international law, statute, statutory instrument, rule, regulation, order, decree, directive, judgement, decision or similar imposition of any central, national, state or local governmental or other public authority or court having competent jurisdiction over, or application to the territories of;
1.2 In any way that would locally or internationally evade any applicable taxes or facilitate tax evasion;
1.3 If you provide us with false, inaccurate or misleading information;
1.4 If your business is engaged in or makes transactions related to the following categories. The given examples are not exhaustive and we may also restrict industries, products, goods, services and other items not listed below:
1.4.1 Illicit drugs (related paraphernalia, including but not limited to any equipment designed for making or using drugs; substances designed to mimic illegal drugs, including without limitation the sale of a legal substance that provides the same effect as an illegal drug; and any substance with varying legal status on a jurisdiction basis);
1.4.2 Weapons (without limitation, weapons, weapon parts, and munitions, gunpowder and other explosives, fireworks and related goods, toxic, flammable, and/or radioactive materials).
1.4.3 Unfair, predatory, or deceptive practices;
1.4.4 Products of wildlife trafficking, illegal hunting and poaching of endangered species;
1.4.5 Human parts of any kind, including organs, body parts, stem cells, etc.
1.4.6 Child endangerment or abuse, i.e., content that sexualizes minors, including sexually explicit material involving minors or content that can be perceived as depicting or encouraging sexual attraction to minors;
1.4.7 Counterfeit and unauthorized goods, e.g., replicas or imitations or designer or other goods;
1.4.8 Charities, or political organizations and auction houses;
1.4.9 Religious or other similar organizations;
1.4.10 "Get rich quick" schemes, including without limitation investment opportunities or other services that promise high rewards;
1.4.11 Any business or organization that engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property; engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence toward any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other characteristic;
1.4.12 Any products and/or services with varying legal status on a jurisdiction basis;
1.4.13 Operations of a shell company;
1.4.14 Extractive industries;
1.4.15 Supplements (including cancer cure, hair growth, diet supplements etc) that make unsubstantiated claims;
1.4.16 The facilitation, sale or distribution of prescription medication or chemicals;
1.4.17 Marketplaces that do not have these measures in place: (i) verifying the identity of sellers, and (ii) fraud prevention monitoring, and;
1.4.18 Any other business product, service, activity, and/or category FuturePay may decide to prohibit from time to time at our sole and reasonable discretion, or any prohibited products or services under any relevant laws and/or regulations in any jurisdiction.
1.5 To make transactions, communications, or otherwise with the following jurisdictions:
1.5.1 Democratic People's Republic of Korea
1.5.2 Islamic Republic of Iran
1.5.3 Republic of Crimea
1.5.4 Republic of Cuba
1.5.5 Republic of the Sudan
1.5.6 Republic of South Sudan
1.5.7 Syrian Arab Republic
1.5.8 Russian Federation
1.5.9 Zaporizhzhia Oblast
1.5.10 Kherson Oblast
1.5.11 Luhansk People's Republic
1.5.12 Donetsk People's Republic
1.5.13 Countries, jurisdictions, or regions subject to international sanctions or designated as high-risk, in accordance with FuturePay's internal compliance policies which are based on publicly available lists from major international organizations and governmental bodies.
2. Revisions
We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time by providing notice to you via email or other commonly used means of communication that we will communicate to you in advance.
